The Scottish Guild of Servers APPLYING FOR MEMBERSHIP Anyone wishing to apply for membership of the Guild should complete and sign an admission form (see below) and have it countersigned by his/her local Rector or Priest-in-Charge. Please ensure that the proposed date of admission is included in the form, which should be returned in good time for the admission ceremony. Allow at least 14 days to allow the Secretary-General to complete the administration and post medals, manuals and admission cards to you. When sending back the form(s), please enclose the admission fee of £3 each. Cheques etc should be made payable to 'The Scottish Guild of Servers'. The Admission Ceremony is set out in the manual. The medal (cross) is worn when serving, suspended round the neck by whatever colour or type of cord or narrow ribbon each church decides.
